- Gropius' Kulturinseln
Ceramics Festival
On three Fridays in June, Rotraut-Richter-Platz transforms into an open workshop. Here, everything revolves around clay: you’ll have the chance to learn various techniques, experiment to your heart’s content, and create your own pieces. Whether it’s your first time at the potter’s wheel or you’re an experienced artist—the festival is a place for anyone interested in creative expression.
The festival brings together the ceramics workshops of Gropiusstadt and creates a space for exchange between artists, art lovers, and the curious. In a lively atmosphere, this fosters dialogue and sparks new ideas.
A collaboration between Berlin Mondiale, the Bauhaus Archive / Museum of Design, Young Arts Neukölln, Stadtvilla Global, and the Evangelical Family Center Apfelsinenkirche.
The Ceramics Festival takes place from 3 to 6 p.m. on June 12, 19, and 26.
